On Saturday morning, I got up at a halfway decent time and decided to check out a few yard sales. I ended up spending $4.25 for 2 pairs of shoes, a shirt and a pair of shorts for Andy, a book, and a travel bag – not too bad! And I just had fun looking around and exploring the town.
Then I stopped by our farmer’s market. They have one in our downtown area every Saturday in the spring and summer. I don’t go too often since Andy doesn’t help me eat many fruits or vegetables, and I feel like it will go bad too quickly. But with such a nice sunny day, I couldn’t resist.
There is even a musician at our farmer’s market
I got some of these fresh green beans
and some sweet corn
I didn’t get the peaches….but I did get some home made peach ice cream from this shop
yes….ice cream for breakfast. It was a good morning.
